Northwest Airlines shareholders approve a proposed combination with Delta Air Lines.
Delta shareholders are scheduled to vote on the combination Thursday afternoon in Atlanta.
The combination still has to receive antitrust approval by the Department of Justice.
Both Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines Inc. and Eagan, Minn.-based Northwest Airlines Corp. expect the deal to completed by the end of the year.
