— A soft-spoken designer from Portland, Ore., has the competition sewn up on Bravo's hit reality show "Project Runway."

A quartet of judges picked Leanne Marshall in the season finale that aired Wednesday night. Show mentor Tim Gunn served as a guest judge after Jennifer Lopez dropped out because of a foot injury.

Marshall showed a wave-inspired collection draped in large panels of white, cream and shades of turquoise.

She beat out Korto Momolu (KAH'-toh MAH'-muh-loo) and Kenley Collins and won $100,000 to start her own line, among other prizes.

"Project Runway" pits fashion designers against each other in weekly challenges hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum.

The three-way design-off marked the first all-female lineup at the series finale.

Congrats, Leanne, you rock!

I am not bitter that the AP is showing this BEFORE PR has shown here on the West Coast.  Really.  Now I know that Kenley lost, ahahahahaha!

Ok, I missed the finale showing on the East coast due to watching the debate.  So, basically, this too ruined it for me...but I will try to catch a rerun of it even if I know the outcome.

I just looked at all the pictures on www.bravotv.com.  I liked Korto's collection better, but Leanne's collection was pretty too.

However, I am curious to know why Leanne picked hideous shoes to go with her wedding dress.  I get that it was suppose to be inspired by the beach and waves...but there are better shoes that would have evoked the feeling of water and waves.
