Former Tyson Foods Inc. chairman Don Tyson says international growth represents the best path to profits for the world's biggest meat company. Tyson already exports heavily, but plans to build new facilities overseas to capture domestic sales in countries with growing middle class populations like India, China and Brazil.

Here's a breakdown of the biggest market for U.S. poultry exports in June 2008, according to the U.S.A. Poultry & Egg Export Council:

_Russia: 57,539 metric tons, down 36 percent from the year before.

_China: 28,450 metric tons, up 3 percent from the year before.

_Ukraine: 25,000 metric tons, up 210 percent from the year before.

_Mexico: 22,692 metric tons, up 18 percent from the year before.
