Thanksgiving week is usually a good week at Broadway box offices, and the holiday did not disappoint for most shows, according to figures released Monday by the Broadway League, the industry's trade organization.

Ten shows including "Mary Poppins," "Billy Elliot," "Shrek The Musical" and such perennial hot tickets as "Jersey Boys" and "Wicked," each grossed more than $1 million for the week. One of the 10, "Irving Berlin's White Christmas," reached the million-dollar mark by playing nine performances, instead of the customary eight.
