LONDON — The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Wednesday morning. Gold fell.
The euro traded at $1.3980, up from $1.3963 late Tuesday in New York.
Other dollar rates:
_90.46 Japanese yen, up from 90.38
_1.0805 Swiss francs, down from 1.0848
_1.2134 Canadian dollars, down from 1.2188
The British pound was quoted at $1.4680, down from $1.4771.
Gold traded in London at $836.75 per troy ounce, down from $843.50 late Tuesday.
