— State Police say Casey Aldridge, father of actress Jamie Lynn Spears' baby, and two of his four passengers were thrown from his 2008 Ford F250 pickup truck when it rolled over in Tensas Parish early Sunday.

Trooper Mark Dennis says Aldridge suffered moderate injuries and was taken to an undisclosed hospital. The wreck happened about 1:30 a.m. on a highway 60 miles southeast of Monroe, near the Mississippi state line. Dennis says the passengers refused treatment for minor injuries.

Investigators did not find cause to suspect drugs or alcohol, but cited Aldridge for careless driving, Dennis says.

Aldridge is a pipe-layer from Liberty, Miss. Spears, star of the Nickelodeon TV series "Zoey 101," is the sister of singer Britney Spears.

"Father of illegitimate child of sister of pop star arrested." Celeb news is getting ridiculous.

in all fairness, she's also a celebrity in her own right seeing she has (had?) her own popular TV show.

Who knew? The lines between popularity and talent have blurred greatly.

Zoey 101 for those of us who don't watch Nickelodeon. (I had no idea; I had to look it up.)
