STAMFORD — GE Capital Aviation Services, the aviation financing unit of General Electric Co., said Tuesday it has entered into a deal with Air Berlin for the sale and leaseback of three Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
The three aircraft will be delivered from Air Berlin's existing order book with Airbus. The aircraft will be delivered in early 2010.
Germany's Air Berlin has a fleet of 131 aircraft.
GE shares rose 10 cents to close at $14.30.
