WASHINGTON — An Ohio congressman named Charlie Wilson wants people to know he's not Joe Wilson, the lawmaker who heckled President Barack Obama.

The Ohio Democrat says people have phoned confusing him with the South Carolina Republican who yelled "You lie" while the president was addressing Congress on Wednesday night.

The two Wilsons are not related. The one from Ohio says he remains friends with his colleague and feels bad for him.

Charlie Wilson says that he was surprised by the outburst but that the health care debate has stirred up emotions.

dont worry charlie no one is going to defend the presidents credibility.slander and defamation arent the offenses they used to be.joe is turning into a republican hero ,they say for standing up for the truth.and with seemingly no retribution from the democratic party adds credence to his accusation.above the law is where the republicans live.

I am proud of Joe who ever he is. It is time that Americans don't sit back and let politician of any party LIE. A liar is a liar, no matter what chair he sits in or what building he stands in. I thank Joe for his remark and am disappointed he felt the need to apologize for the truth.
