Dems plan to admonish Wilson for insult

WASHINGTON — Democratic leaders are planning to vote early next week to admonish Republican Rep. Joe Wilson if he does not apologize on the House floor for yelling "You lie!" at President Barack Obama.

Brendan Daly, a spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, said party leaders decided at a meeting Thursday that they will likely move forward with a resolution of disapproval against Wilson absent another apology.

Wilson apologized to Obama after the incident on Wednesday, but he has refused requests to apologize to the House. Wilson's office says the congressman considers his initial apology sufficient.

Democrats say the insult clearly violated House rules of decorum.

While what Congressman Wilson did was disrespectful and inappropriate, what President Obama said was, in fact, a lie. Wilson apologized, but where is the president's apology?

You will not hear Obama say he is sorry for telling the American people a lie, Wilson did show disrespect for the place where he made the statement, it was no disrespect for Obama it was the truth, give the man credit for having the balls to say it out loud and to Obama's face.

Are you a fool or do you just say foolish things? What did the President lie about? The health bill specifically states that no government funded insurance will be provided to illegal aliens. You can't be more specific than that.

In 2003 Wilson voted to provide tax dollars to reimburse hospitals that provided health care to uninsured illegal immigrants. Now whose the liar and hypocrite. Wake up and smell the coffee. The man is a coward, a tool and gutless little worm. Your mind is impervious to facts and the truth.

Yeah, since when has it been possible for the truth to be an insult? It was Obama insulting America's intelligence with his big fat lies. Obama owes the public an apology.

Joe should eat some beans Sunday night and be prepared to let it rip into a microphone when Pelosi is speaking Monday. Give them back what they are dishing out.

If anyone should be admonished it should be Barak Obama and all his cabinet members, also his self appointed czars. America is tired of the lies and personal agenda that his administration has to destroy our great nation. It's time to clean house on capitol hill and get this illegal person out of office.

Admonish Pelosi for sucking up to Obama, it's sickening. There are others who are afraid to speak out, maybe now they will get the courage to stand up for what is right for America.
