CAMARILLO — The average price of regular gasoline in the United States has dropped 4.5 cents to $2.47 over a two-week period.

That's according to the national Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released Sunday.

Cheyenne, Wy., had the lowest average price among cities surveyed at $2.16 a gallon for regular. Anchorage was the highest at $3.23.

In California, a gallon of regular cost an average of $3.01.

Stockton had California's least expensive gas at $2.91 a gallon. San Francisco remained the state's steepest at $3.09.

Makes me laugh although it's not funny. I have reduced my driving to bare minimum after the gas prices went up to $4 and $5 and I watched truckers and Lobster-man going out of business during the Bush administration. All the savings I reaped were sent to the Obama Campaign.

The average price of regular gasoline in the United States has dropped 4.5 cents to $2.47 over a two-week period.

I will send as little money to the middle east as possible and I suggest they learn to plant crops in the sand.
