People don't die of AIDS, either. They die of opportunistic diseases or infections due to a compromised immune system. HIV depletes the immune system, which leads to said diseases and infections. The flu works the same way, just not on the same scale.

And for the matter - death is assured the moment we're born.

Fair question: How about maintaining the QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL OF US AMERICANS?
We do not, emphatically not, need more welfare parasites, more criminals or potential criminals imported. What do you actually expect these people to contribute. . . of even miniscule positive value to our nation? Take a look at those many immigrants from Somalia, for instance. How MANY are self-supporting, are NOT dependent on never-ending welfare checks and goverment (taxpayer) aid, are NOT adding to the crime rate. Are NOT a nighmarish social problem for their American neighbors?

Don't get me wrong, but we, as a nation, have done far more than OUR fair share. Let someone else carry these people. There is a time to stop, and that time is NOW!

Perhaps if we allocated funds used to blow the limbs off our enemies, and used it to cure people or feed them, then they wouldn't need to encroach on what you hold near and dear.

Someone made the absurd comment these HIV infected people were only "visiting" America. I recall not too long ago, reading a news article to the effect our federal government is unable to keep track of or account for those hundreds of thousands, possibly millions who overstayed their visa. Yet all you damned liberals can to is try to fault us for wanting to keep our country from being dragged down any further than it already has been.

I wonder if you, Bluekilgoretrout, were knowingly willing to eat at a restaurant staffed by HIV positive kitchen workers. If YOU would willingly invite some impoverished HIV infected immigrants to live in your home; accept the responsibility for their care and to provide for their needs.

It's very easy to tell others they need to make sacrifices, but those same liberals are strangely reluctant when it comes to putting themselves out. Cutting back on their own lifestyle to set a good example for the rest of us.
