Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez
Oscar-nominated actress Kate Hudson and baseball player Alex Rodriguez went to great lengths to keep their relationship under wraps when it first began, but now Kate's not shy about who sees her cheering for her favorite Yankee. During the regular season, Hudson hit the road to watch A-Rod play games in Dallas and Atlanta and now she'll enjoy prime seats as the Yankees take on the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series. During their 6-month relationship, Rodriguez has also gotten a glimpse into his famous girlfriend's world, joining her on shopping trips to the L.A. outpost of Barney's New York and soaking up the heat at Miami's hottest night spots.

— Kate Hudson and Yankee Alex Rodriguez have reportedly split, according to Gossipcop.com.

There’s no official confirmation coming from either Hudson or A-Rod, but this comes as little surprise, since they never confirmed they were dating in the first place. However, the couple was seen together in public frequently, and Hudson spent the better part of the summer at Rodriguez’s Yankees games at home and on the road.

The two appeared to have a spat the night the Yankees won the World Series: Hudson was seen leaving a celebration at New York nightclub 1OAK in a huff.

Last Thursday, Hudson appeared on “Late Show With David Letterman” and giggled her way through a series of questions about the baseball star. The couple appeared in good spirits together at Hudson’s premiere for her new film, “Nine,” on Dec. 4 in London.

The news of the breakup took a mutual friend of the couple by surprise. “Wow, they were happy a week ago,” she said.

      Kate needs to remember that she is a Mom first and an actress second. She also needs to grow-up and realize that.

      Alex Rodriguez is known for being a playboy to the A-listers. The relationship was bound to end sooner or later.

      I'm willing to bet that it was Alex who ended it. He was getting the milk for free so why should he buy the cow. He's on to the next one by now, and there are plenty more where that one came from!
