NEW YORK — Time Warner Inc. said Thursday that it named Gary Ginsberg to the new position of executive vice president. He will supervise marketing, public relations and communications for the media conglomerate.
Ginsberg worked as an executive vice president at News Corp. from 1999 to 2009.
He will report to Time Warner CEO and Chairman Jeff Bewkes.
Ginsberg is a member of the board of directors of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, the news museum Newseum, New Visions for Public Schools and New York Cares. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Time Warner shares finished regular trading up 13 cents at $29.08.
