NEW YORK — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Goldman Sachs Group Inc., down $15.04 to $145.20

The Justice Department opened a criminal investigation into the Wall Street powerhouse over mortgage securities deals it arranged.

D.R. Horton Inc., up 45 cents to $14.69

First-time homebuyers motivated by a soon-to-expire tax credit boosted the homebuilder's new orders and sales.

Halliburton Co., down 95 cents to $30.65

The oilfield services provider is named a defendant in a federal class action lawsuit over its role in the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Trex Company Inc., up $1.95 to $24.49

Lower sales of its fencing and decking materials drove a wider first-quarter loss, but results still beat expectations.

Transocean Ltd., down $6.19 to $72.32

The offshore drilling contractor faces a federal lawsuit after the explosion of one of its rigs last week set off a massive oil spill.

Newell Rubbermaid Inc., up 12 cents to $17.07

The maker of Sharpie pens and Lenox china reported a surge in first-quarter profit and raised its outlook on better demand.

Dendreon Corp., up $3.88 to $54.06

The pharmaceutical company's prostate cancer drug, Provenge, was approved for sale by the Food and Drug Administration.

Repros Therapeutics Inc., down 2 cents to 85 cents

The Food and Drug Administration said it would consider allowing development of its lead drug candidate, Proellex, to continue.
