Adriana returns to Victoria’s Secret — in $2 million bra

— How can Victoria’s Secret make supermodel Adriana Lima even more desirable? By putting her in a $2 million diamond-encrusted “Bombshell Fantasy Bra” set in 18-karat white gold.

The Brazilian beauty, who took a yearlong hiatus following the birth of her daughter Valentina last November, will don the pricey intimate at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which airs Tuesday, Nov. 30, on CBS. The bra features more than 3,000 white diamonds (60 carats), light blue sapphires (82 carats) and oval-shaped topazes. It took six craftsmen 1,500 hours of full-time labor to complete it.

This isn’t the first pricey bra Victoria’s Secret has dangled in front of viewers. The lingerie company unveiled the $5 million “Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra” in 2008 and a $3 million “Harlequin Fantasy Bra” in 2009. This will be the second time Adriana Lima has had the honor of donning the fantasy bra.

Aside from glittering, pricey bras, the fashion show will also feature performances by Katy Perry and Akon. But two famous former Victoria’s Secret Angels — Miranda Kerr, currently expecting with husband Orlando Bloom, and veteran Heidi Klum — are noticeably missing from this year’s show. Hopefully the show’s signature outlandish getups and “fantasy” lingerie will make up for them.
