LOS ANGELES — "Octomom" Nadya Suleman and her 14 children could avoid being evicted from their suburban home if the mortgage holder cuts a deal with a porn kingpin.

After giving Suleman repeated warnings to pay the $450,000 that's due or get out, Amer Haddadin said he's now considering an offer from Vivid Entertainment co-founder Steve Hirsch to foot the bill.

Suleman has repeatedly declined Hirsch's offers — $1 million at one point — to appear in porn videos.

Haddadin says half a million dollars is nothing to Hirsch, whose company is one of the biggest pornography companies based in California's San Fernando Valley.

"I am open to any option that (allows me to) finish with this matter," Haddadin said. "I like his offer, and I'm going to go ahead with it if I can, but we'll see after Monday."

Haddadin said he's meeting with his lawyer Monday to talk about the deal and further eviction procedures, and Suleman won't face eviction Friday, as previously reported.

Hirsch told The Associated Press on Tuesday that he's not trying to pressure Suleman into porn, but he would use her housing woes to start a conversation that brings her to work for Vivid.

"There'd be no pressure on her. We're not looking to foreclose on the note, but if nothing else it would give us opportunity to meet with her," Hirsch said. "She's made it clear she doesn't want to do an adult movie. Maybe there are other things we could do that she would be interested in."

Hirsch said Suleman could keep her clothes on and work as a Vivid representative, a role similar to a master of ceremonies, welcoming people to Vivid parties.

The work could help cover Suleman's monthly costs, Hirsch said.

Suleman's housing woes stretch back for years. Before moving into her current four-bedroom home on a La Habra cul-de-sac, Suleman and her first six children lived with her mother. But that small Whittier home was foreclosed on just as her octuplets were becoming healthy enough to leave the hospital.

Nearly two years ago, Suleman's father, Ed Doud, bought the house for Suleman because the unemployed, single mom did not qualify for a traditional bank loan.

To purchase the $565,000 home about 25 miles east of Los Angeles, Doud made a $130,000 down payment and promised to pay $4,000 monthly, but a $450,000 balloon payment was due in March.

Haddadin had granted a six-month extension to pay the balance on the loan, but that expired Oct. 9. He told the AP on Sunday that as a Jordanian, he took pity on a fellow Arab in a tough spot and pledged to help Doud, who is Palestinian.

Doud had transferred the deed to Suleman and her lawyer, Jeff Czech, in August and both were served with eviction notices on Dec. 2, Haddadin said.

A call to Czech was not immediately returned Thursday.

All 14 of Suleman's children were conceived through in vitro fertilization — something her doctor Michael Kamrava is facing censure for from the state medical board. The Beverly Hills fertility specialist stands to lose his license, and is accused of gross negligence in Suleman's treatment and the treatment of two other patients.

Before the octuplets were born, Suleman was living off college loans, her children's disability payments and workers' compensation from on-the-job injuries at a state mental hospital in 1999. Since their birth, the disability payments have dried up, but a new income stream was found in selling gossip items and short videos to tabloid media. Minor deals came through as a spokeswoman for a local milkshake vendor and an animal rights group.

Good grief will this woman just go away, get a real job, and concentrate on taking care of her kids instead of her search for personal fame? She is shameless.

No sane person with 14 kids and no job agrees to a $450k balloon payment unless they expect to get rich pretty quickly. I guess it didn't happen. Oh well. Maybe she could call Oprah?

Well I hope her kids are taken care of I trully do, but she needs her head screwed on straight, she is so intent on being "Famous and Rich" for just being a brood mare that she is failing as a Mom. I may sound harsh, and I have the utmost respect for mothers, they have a thankless, endless job, but she is something else.

Hasn't the story already come out that she would be going on welfare because the money from book deals, interviews, etc..etc..has dried up. If this isn't a story supporting welfare reform and the legacy of the entitlement mentality then what is?

Having 14 children all out of wedlock through invitro fertilization. No long term plans for how she was going to raise and support them other than playing on the sympathy and goodwill of others. And now she will turn to the government to support her and her children. The government can't even go after the father for child support.

This is about as disgusting as it gets. Abusing a societies good will and its belief in helping others in a time of need to game the system for your own personal desires. This is just one instance we know about because of its outlandish abuse.

The best thing to do would be to declare her unfit to raise children. Find parents that want to adopt children and will have the time and love to care for them instead of relying on an unemployed, unethical, mother dividing her time between 14 fatherless children. Then have her sterilized so she cant continue to do this crap again because she is unfit to be a mother.

A 4 bedroom house would mean one for the mother and 4 children in each of the other rooms. I believe some states would consider that illegal for exceeding the occupancy of a single family dwelling.

As a parent it disgusts me that the State of California hasn't already stepped in to intervene on those children behalf. How could anyone possibly believe that one parent to raise 14 infant children isn't child endangerment...

WTF is California thinking...

P.S. I love the irony of the Shirt she's wearing, "Fight Breedism", like she's one to talk when her and her 14 kids are homeless.

Let's not forget this is also an indictment of the "right to life" mentality; she could not stand the idea that those embryos would not have the chance at life, which is why she insisted they all be implanted. Yes, never mind that she had no way to raise them. The most important thing in that philosophy is not whether a child will have food to eat or someone to care for them - it's more important that a blob of cells be given "life".

In Vetro fertilization is not a natural act. It was originally developed for married Heterosexual couples that were having a difficult time having children on their own. The Sperm and eggs of the couple that want to have a child are used. It was not meant for Lesbians and Single woman to be able to have children just by running to a local Sperm bank and buying a lot of sperm and finding some willing doctor to do the procedure.

To try and claim that she believes in "Right to Life" is a bogus argument and a disgusting way of trying to bring sympathy for a Woman that deserves none.

What you should ask is how she could go through the process below simply to fulfill her own desire for children without considering there well being, how they would like to grow up without a father, the quality of life they would have being one of 14 in a single parent household. I mean if she had a house she could hold on to.

Step 1: Fertility medications are prescribed to control the timing of the egg ripening and to increase the chance of collecting multiple eggs during one of the woman's cycles. This is often referred to as ovulation induction. Multiple eggs are desired because some eggs will not develop or fertilize after retrieval. Egg development is monitored using ultrasound to examine the ovaries and urine or blood test samples to check hormone levels.

Step 2: Your eggs are retrieved through a minor surgical procedure which uses ultrasound imaging to guide a hollow needle through the pelvic cavity. Sedation and local anesthesia are provided to remove any discomfort that you might experience. The eggs are removed from the ovaries using the hollow needle, which is called follicular aspiration. Some women may experience cramping on the day of retrieval, which usually subsides the following day; however, a feeling of fullness or pressure may last for several weeks following the procedure.

Step 3: Sperm, usually obtained by ejaculation is prepared for combining with the eggs.

Step 4: In a process called insemination, the sperm and eggs are placed in incubators located in the laboratory which enables fertilization to occur. In some cases where fertilization is suspected to be low, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) may be used. Through this procedure, a single sperm is injected directly into the egg in an attempt to achieve fertilization. The eggs are monitored to confirm that fertilization and cell division are taking place. Once this occurs, the fertilized eggs are considered embryos.

Step 5: The embryos are usually transferred into the woman's uterus anywhere from one to six days later, but most commonly it occurs between two to three days following egg retrieval. At this point, the fertilized egg has divided to become a two-to-four cell embryo. The transfer process involves a speculum which is inserted into the vagina to expose the cervix. A predetermined number of embryos are suspended in fluid and gently placed through a catheter into the womb. This process is often guided by ultrasound. The procedure is usually painless, but some women experience mild cramping.

It appears to me she has had some botox lip injections. Doesn't it? Looks like her lips are all blown up, out of proportion? If she has been spending any money on cosmetic surgery, she's getting what she deserves. The babies all need to be taken from her custody, I would use that allegation alone as a fact in her inability to remain responsible for the care of those children.

The First Amendment gives her the right to self expression. It does not require responsibility. Those of you calling for her children to be removed are making assumptions about her ability to care for these kids. The fact is, for the last two years she has seen to their health and well-being.

I was a caseworker in the South Bronx for over 4 years. Children are removed for reasons of abuse and neglect, but not for poverty. If that were so, the number of kids in foster care would balloon.

Octomom is yet another symbol of California's and America's excess. But look at the many who enabled her, from her parents to her doctor and many others.

In a separate article, the dr who conducted the "procedure" is up to loose his license. Hope he does. And, while I feel for the poor kids, she needs to have to have mandatory parenting classes and live in housing that she can afford!

She has alread publicy stated that she regrets having that many children. Whatever happened to others accepting her apology and forgiving? And for those stating that her children need to be taken is wrong. At the end of the day she is still a mother. She has family and friends that she could possibly take her and her children in. We dont know her finances or lack thereof. Another thing that kills me is when people say that are tired of paying for people on welfare. Guess what?!? There isnt much you can do about it but pay. Is it always right? No! Is it going anywhere? NO! So get over it and stop bitching. Welfare is not a long term solution but it is there for those that face tough times and make bad decisions. SHE SAID SHE MADE A BAD DECISION. Stop being hateful and pray that she comes out of this a better woman and that her children are taken care of. She still loves them!

It's not enough to say you're "sorry." You have to show it.

This useless woman makes me want to vomit. She is white trash from the word......GO. Imagine the money the state shells out for her each month. The stupid doctor who inseminated her with all those kids should be handed the deed to that house so he can pay for those kids. When she was single, already had 6 kids and no job, he should have refused treating her.

Another cry for more money is all we hear from her.
