Seagate, Blyth, AerCap, Expedia are big movers

NEW YORK — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

NYSE

Seagate Technology Plc., up $1.15 at $15.84

The hard disk drive maker will resume paying a quarterly dividend of 18 cents after canceling its quarterly payouts in 2009.

Tempur Pedic International Inc., up $6.18 at $57.17

The mattress and pillow company raised its 2011 forecast and said it expects to report strong first-quarter results.

Blyth Inc., up $3.87 at $41.01

The maker of decorations and household products said its fourth-quarter profit fell but said it expects growth in 2012.

AerCap Holdings N.V., up 94 cents at $14.19

An FBR Capital Markets analyst upgraded the aviation company citing higher demand for air travel this year.

Buckle Inc., down 90 cents at $43.65

A KeyBanc analyst downgraded the retailer's stock to "Hold" from "Buy," saying some of its peers have greater growth potential.

Nasdaq

Expedia Inc., up $2.90 at $25.30

The online travel company said it planned to spin off its TripAdvisor unit into a separate, publicly traded company.

Hercules Offshore Inc., down 72 cents at $5.66

The oil services company said that two government agencies are investigating its operations and have requested company documents.

Idenix Pharmaceuticals Inc., down 34 cents at $2.90

The biopharmaceutical company said that it plans to sell an unspecified number of shares in a public offering.
