ATLANTA — In a story May 26, The Associated Press reported that only about 6.5 percent of U.S. adults meet physical activity guidelines while working. That figure represents the proportion of people who meet activity guidelines only from work, and did not include those who would meet guidelines if leisure-time exercise was also counted. Of that 6.5 percent, a disproportionate number were Hispanic and men with less than a high school education.
