LONDON — Actress Elizabeth Hurley and businessman Arun Nayar were divorced Wednesday after four years of marriage.

The divorce decree was granted at a brief hearing in London Wednesday by District Judge Penny Cushing.

Neither Hurley nor Nayar was in court to hear their names read out along with those of 27 other divorcing couples.

The grounds given for the divorce was Nayar's "unreasonable behavior."

The British actress and Indian businessman married in 2007 at an English castle, with singer Elton John giving the bride away. They followed up the private civil ceremony with a lavish and traditional Hindu wedding in Jodphur, India.

Hurley announced last December that the couple had separated. She has since been romantically linked to Australian cricket star Shane Warne.

Hurley, 46-years old, dated actor Hugh Grant for more than a decade and has a nine-year-old son, Damian, from a relationship with film producer Steve Bing.

Another entertainer gets a divorce? Shocking! I remember thinking she was hotter than a firecracker, when I was younger.

Sign of freedom. Divorce and freedom to escape bondage and/or turmoil is a prize reserved for the rich or at least well-off. Pay the piper and then you're free to roam. The rest of you @!$%#ers suck it up! Oh, yeah...and here's some bibilical morality stuff to help you swallow that pill. Don't forget to pay your taxes.

Man, i've had enough high maintenance girlfriends to know that feeling the moment when those kinds of sentiments die. For most guys, the supermodel isn't the woman/wife of their dreams.

" Most guys' dream wife isn't some supermodel."

But when she is, and she's Elizibeth Hurley.......You'd think you could be faithful, right?

What more could any man want??

Sure, I'd love to drink the milk, but I don't think I'd want to buy the cow. Been married for 16 years...no way, dude! I see nothing but hard times there (from the outside looking in). There's a lot of compromise involved in surviving marriage, and in a society biased against males (as far as marriage is concerned), we have a greater burden for compromise IMO. Both have to be submissive to some degree, the right compliment. At some point with these hotties getting repeatedly dumped you have to suspect something's wrong with the cows.

Of course, we're most likely just witnessing the self-destruction of an insecure man here. Lol.

I'd love the chance to be in a failing relationship with Elizibeth Hurley.

Yes marriage / LTR can be tough, but "it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all"

Especially with the arguably best looking woman on earth!

Did you see her in "Bedazzled" with Brendan Farzier? Not only a very funny movie, but she was absolutely beautiful.

No question she's a hottie. Take Jennifer Anniston as another riddle. "Along Came Polly" spank scene...my God! Can't keep a man. What's up with that?!

They both look more in love with themselves than each other. And what is it with these celebs hooking up with so many pro athletes lately?

The temptation to have a hook up in every city is way too distracting not to give in.

You do. You not only read the article despite its headline, you even proceeded to post a message on its message board.

That makes your response here the most moronic idiotic response ever.

I'm with faust, notwithstanding MrIndia's insult (which probably violates the CoH, but is not big deal.) Look, this is the headline story on the Newsvine site. I had to see why? Who would comment? What might the comments tell me that I was missing about how this is a non-story? And I discovered, as did faust, that there's nothing in this vine that adds to the import of the story. So unless someone DOES give a @!$%#? and can tells us why, I'm still with faust, MrIndia's insults be dashed. But I sure as heck will NOT vote the story up!

Actually i didn't read the article and I won't. According to our politicians, economists and just about everybody else, the good ole USA and the rest of the world is gasping for air and you want focus on this crap? Who's the moron?

        Squirrel!
