Gingrich: Palestinians an 'invented' people

WASHINGTON — Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich is telling a Jewish cable channel that Palestinians are an "invented" people and that they are really Arabs who chose not to live elsewhere.

The Jewish Channel on Friday released excerpts of an interview in which the former House speaker says there was no Palestine as a state and that the residents there were part of the Ottoman Empire before the creation of the state of Israel.

Gingrich says Palestinians were historically part of the Arab community and that they had a chance to go many places.

Gingrich says the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians has been, quote, "delusional." He says President Barack Obama's effort to treat the Palestinians the same as the Israelis is actually, as he puts it, "favoring the terrorists."

I thought Newt and all CREATIONIST, believed all people were INVENTED? Or is this Newt's way of saying the Palistanians EVOLVED,some how, from the original INVENTED people. With this reasoning, one has to wonder, what other people were invented, as opposed to being created? Typical regressive behavior, one step forward-two steps back! And so we are back to CREATIONISM (v) EVOLUTION. Thanks Newt.

How did we ever get out of the age of NEANDERTHALS...

Really a great way to influence the world as a potential world leader of the most powerful country in the world. Right? Pander the Jewish community and insult their intelligence while trying to win for votes, and alienate the rest of the world you will need to rely on as President.

The man's stupidity is beyond even the braindead level. At least at this point those with any intelligence at all will see what kind of total fool they have been duped into paying millions to for his 'experienced counsel.'

I don't think they are any more a fiction than an Israeli. European and Sephardic Jews and those from Inda and Ethiopia have very little in common except their religions. Are Brasilian, Poles and Asian Catholics a people because they are Catholics.

Mr. Gingrich as a historian should know if you want to eliminate a people you first deny them an identity.

Ok how do you invent a people who have been there for a extremely long time. And tomorrow the Neut. lets just throw something out and see if it will fly. And this guy is their front runner and a historian.

Newt's point of view is accurate and the same reasoning and historical fact can be applied to so-called Jews people also. Anyone can be a Jew who believes in the teachings of Judaism. Palestinians are nationalist, or people born within the boarders of the country Palestine. So is Newt suggesting that in turn, American's are not a people?

American's are at the botton of a cess-pool in search of new political leadership. On both sides of the American two party (Or three, if you count the cloned Republican's members of the Tea Party, newly electd politicans) political system.

"Invented people" is the Zionist History Revisionists view of modern day Palestinians. Newt was using their talking points. There is a Zionist movement to claim there was never really a Palestine. So why should they create one.

Newt can relate to those illogically devious twists of perceptions.

As in:

Poor kids do not have work ethics so nine year olds should be janitor assistants. That way the kid can learn real quick his place in society by having to clean the toilets of his more wealthy peers at an early age. Brilliant! Pigeon hole the little bastards from the get go.

Anybody following this Newt-Job is headed down a very scary RABBIT HOLE!

No surprise here, really. Show me a politician, who's hoping to be influential in Washington, or to become president, and does not suck up to the strongest lobbyists there. The man is speaking on a Jewish channel!! Did you expect him to yell: "Free Palestine! No to the apartheid!"?!

That's the way of the American politics since the inception of Israel. One of the first thing an American president does after his inauguration is running to AIPAC and declaring his utter most (and blind) loyalty to Israel and the lobbyists supporting it. Now that could mean to defy logic, humanity and international laws sometimes, but who cares, no one is going to question, or hold accountable, the president or the lobbyists...or much less, Israel...!
