I think McCain keeps saying he's going to do this, he's going to do that. He's the typical George Bush. I don't like his attitude, he wants to be aggressive answering the questions but he sounds more like a desperate man. He knows he's for the big and the wealthy. I also have no respect for the man for allowing Sarah Palin talk about Obama the way she is and having people shout "terrorist", "treason" and "kill him". What kind of campaign is McCain trying to portray, a violent and trashy one or a responsible one, obviously we know the answer for not doing anything about it.

I was so discussed, Christians, oh please, they're a bunch of fear-mongering, would be dictators. Those two are the scariest yet.
How can people still believe those who attacked on 9/11 are based in Iraq??? I fear Bush, McCain and cronies know where BinLaden is and are simply waiting to capture or kill him until it has the most impact on this election.

I agree..disrespectful and not what I would want as a leader for my country. I can not understand how the McCain/Palin team think they are impressing anyone with this kind of crude alley cat behavior.
No class, no class. Just terrible.
McCain was insulting and disrespectful to Obama and to me as a small business owner. We run a family business that takes all 5 of us to manage and we do not make more than 250k a year, in fact, it takes all of us to make 1/4 of that.
We can't afford health care with this system that promotes health care for profit. Kaiser Permanente makes record profits on Wall Street while my family has to pay $850. a month to get a $30. copay for seeing a doctor. When Bush took office we were paying $150. a month for a $10. copay and it covered the entire family. What happened?
Repb. ran the whole show for 6 years!
I agree - McCain's "That one" comment was very disrespectful. Can you see this bozo talking to foreign leaders this way? A total lack of respect! All the while, Obama always referred to McCain in the debate as "Senator McCain". Obama is total class and presidential without a doubt.
Tom Brokaw is not being fair to Barak Obama. He is letting McCain wander and wander, but will not let Barak Obama respond to John McCain defaming him. This is not a fair debate because of the moderator. He only says what the rules are after Barak Obama speaks and not after John McCain wanders and wanders. But then mainstream television sound bites where PBS gives all the information in documentaries.

But even with the cards stacked against him, Barak Obama came out the winner!

I agree with you totally. I thought that I was just imagining the bias. Tom Brokaw definitely did not do a good job in moderating this debate. But Obama won the debate anyway!
I've never liked Tom Brokaw either, he has ruined Meet The Press for me. I can't wait until they find a permanent replacement for Tim Russert. Tom has marbles in his mouth.
McCain is a nasty man. His ideas won't work and he and Palin are a frightening pair. Obama is steady, measured, intelligent and would bring this Country back to its greatness.

Palin dont you know mccains wife is rich in tune of 100 million dollars he sleeps well but you have to go home to your family grandma.

Obama said it straight we need our money here in the USA not in Iraq. We need our troops home. I believe that Obama can do this for the US.

Tom Brokenaw IS BIASED... so many times McPain is waffling on incessantly about whah, whah, whah and Brokaw says nothing- but then comments at the end of an Obama response... just timed McPain- 2:45 on his waffling about his healthcare: green light blinking ON CAMERA then yellow lite ON CAMERA then red lite ON CAMERA then NO LIGHTS and he is still waffling- and Brokenaw goes right to Obama with out any comment or admonition to McPain. BUT he has no qualms about interrupting Obama, why – because he is biased.
I caught this when he first started sitting in on Meet the Press- and stopped watching because of it.
I thought he had retired- with good riddance. Then NBC insults the brilliant and blessed Tim Russert and the rest of us by putting this biased, stodgy old baffoon to sit in for Tim Russert (can't bring myself to use the term "fill in").
Pathetic excuse for a “moderator”
It is well known that Brokaw is a personal friend of McCain's. However, even with the obvious moderator bias, Obama still did far, far better than McCain in this debate.
Looks like the bleeding hearts our out in full force tonight. I am still unsure about who I vote for but I really just want Obama to actually answer a question. Round one Obama, Round two McCain.

McCain is a rambling old man who can't answer a straight question! Question: out of 3, what is your #1 priorety... mccain answer: all of them -- uh? Is heath care a right, priveldge or responsibility..... A: responsibility --- what??? He even said social security is an "easy fix" It's so easy, he hasn't done anything to fix it in 30 years!!!
