Oh, MG - so p'd off had to come post somewhaere. Can we first discuss how freakin' biased tired, old Tom Brokenaw is... so many times McPain is waffling on incessantly  about whah, whah, whah and Brokaw says nothing- but then comments at the end of an Obama response... just timed McPain- 2:45 on his waffling about his healthcare: green light blinking ON CAMERA then yellow ION CAMERA the red ON CAMERA the NO LIGHTS and he is still waffling- and Brokenaw goes right to obama with out any comment or admonition to McPain.

I thought he had retired- with good riddance. Then they insult the brilliant and blessed Tom Russert and the rest of us by putting this biased, stodgy old baffoon to sit in for Tim Russert (can't bring myself to use the term "fill in"). What a pathetic, sad joke.

McCain is a robot. He continues to repeat the same "friends," the same examples, the same everything. It wasn't believable the first time he said the same thing, and it isn't believable now! I wish he would stop beginning every comment with, "My friends...." We are not all his friends, and we're sick and tired of his rhetoric that answers nothing. Was he prepared for this town hall meeting by his running mate? It certainly looks that way and sounds that way. He and his "good friend" Joe Lieberman ( who doesn't know where he belongs and is most definitely a turncoat) need to give it up to the better ticket...Obama and Biden. Enough is enough.

I totally agree with the comment from Radio Free America and R Wolf.  McCain has changed and is so dirty!  However palin is the scariest of them all!  I can not imagine what the rest of the world thinks about her even having a chance at the VP or Presedential job.  I know Europe was very nervous about John McCain this summer, they were afraid we would vote him in.  They were truly hoping Obama could win, they thought it would be so good for the world.

There is always the question of experience, but there comes a time when it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.  It seems to me that Sen. Obama is thinking out of the box and has fresh new ideas while Sen McCain has the same stale ideas with a "new" twist.  26 yrs of following the same old rules, the same old policies and the same ole politics isn't change!!! And it's not easy to change habits that have been formed over 30 days, so how can habits that have been formed for 26 yrs be chnages easily?

be diplomatic talks before anything is done in the way of war.  Afterall it was 'GW Bush/Cheney, who proposed the war in Iraq, because there was suppose to  be weapons of mass destruction.  We never should have been in Iraq period, and McSame proposes weontinue to stay there until the end of time, he's losing his mind and is senile.    Vote Democratic.

me either Shelby, me either... but this is how I explain it to people..... Bush still has a 24% approval rate...these people will definitely be voting for McCain, then there is the 10-12% that will vote McCain Palin, because their great great slave owner granddaddy will turn in his grave if they voted to put a you know what in the white house (ignorance I know, but we all know it exist)...so that put McCain at what about 35% of the votes...the other 8% come from the people who only watch Fox News....I am not making excuses for these people but honestly there are lots of people who only have the time or desire to watch Faux News and I really believe that these people are being honest in their thinking and don't even know how they are being lied to and tricked about the truth....like in Atlanta our local Fox News Channel is great so for some in Atlanta they only see the Fox brand and believe that it is a real news channel and not a propaganda machine..so now McCain has 43% of the votes....don't be surprised if this is how the vote split :-)

What is this the obama show.  He is speaking longer than he is supposed to and is getting away with it.  He is just talking in circles.  He keeps repeating himself.  McCain is to the point.  McCain is definitely winning.  MNBC people are just biased agains republicans and would not admit that McCain is doing very well.

My children watching started laughing because all McCain did was repeat himself.  We found him quite amusing.  Even teenagers can see through the bull.

McCain has done nothing for Arizona - What makes you think that he will do anything for this country? I have been an Arizonan since McCain has been in office - Thank GOD we have a wonderful Governor!

Listen to him – he is rude and condescending. He is behaving the same way as his running mate did on Thursday! I sure do not want him President and I especially don’t think his Gun – toting Hockey Bulldog Momma of a running mate to be in that seat either!!!

Palin - Really? I am a teacher who teaches my 4th graders what the "Role of a VP is" and she couldn't even answer that. (Thurs)

This election is the MOST important change this country NEEDS! WHAT WAR??? We are in Jihad and don’t even know it! My family and husband are all military – they need to come home – TIMELINE!!! Who are we really trying to BEAT?

McCain needs to stop running on the "I was a POW" ticket. My family and my husband is in the military - Live in the past, or look for change! We NEED a timeline for Iraq! We are NOT in Jihad! These people have already been liberated - what are we trying "to win"?

Tom Brokaw - BACK OFF!  You are being SO rude to Obama. YOU ARE BEING UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

McCain is not being honest with his responses.  He will not admit that he plans to cut Medicare.  He even referred to Senator Obama as "...that one over there...".  He has lost respect for the debates overall and his campaign has gone so far south that I am embarrassed to say that he was apart of the military family (in which I am).  Do not mistake the previous statement, I am very pleased that he served our country and I regret that he was prisoner of War however his behavior in this campaign is not Honorable and not what we need in the White House.  I love this country (and I am sure McCain does as well) however McCain is too focused on winning BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY and not focused enough on the grass roots of America.  Senator Obama has defended himself against Senator McCain's attacks fairly well.  The McCain-Palin ticket gives very little or not enough details on how they plan to address economic issues.   Senator McCain's record has been diluted so much that he does not know were he stands and frankly neither does his running mate Governor Palin.  Americans want plans that can be executed not simply talked about and not just "reaching over the aisle".  We want someone who can be clear about the policies and not reach at the bottom of the barrel to try to get ahead.  I had hope this election would bring about new and creative ideas from all parties however only one is campaign has remain positive and discusses real issues and ideas to resolve the issues impacting American - that is the Obama-Biden ticket.
