Did this debate influence how you will vote?

I cannot wait for Obama to take office and we can start to have hope again and begin to change this country for the better.  McCain showed tonight how out of touch he is, how angry he is that the presidency he thinks he deserves is not going to be his.  He said he would not apply a litmus test on Supreme Court Justices, then his last words were that if they had a history of supporting abortion rights and Roe v. Wade that they were not qualified candidates for the Supremes to him, is that not a litmus test Senator?  Obama showed class, grace, knowledge, even temperament and skill, these are the things we need in our next President, NOT anger, laughing at your opponents comments, interrupting your opponents attacking on baseless claims about associating with Ayers and Acorn thus avoiding the pressing issues we face.

Did Mcain really compare the education problem in this country to the civil rights movement? Seriously? Did I hear that right?

Got tired of McCains shifting logic which I find to be common with the Republicans, ex. trade with Peru to which McCain came back with Hugo Chavez?.......the talk was of Peru, NOT Venezuela....but the common person will note the name and associate the anti american and not realize the subtle disingenuity and erroneous association. Smoke and mirrors is the Republican way to campaign...magic mirrors where they take something off topic and try to discredit the issue by moving it into topic to disqualify it. Such tactics make McCain look exactly like Bill O'Reilly who couldn't tell the real or whole truth to save his own soul.

McCain needs to retire to an OLD FOLKS home.

Once-again, Obama: calm, solution-seeking coherence and good judgement. And once-again, McCain (during Obama's responses): angry, erratic, blinking eyes, toothy grin, inserting comments and sarcasm, negative and attacking. He is a pampered child, pulled out of every problem and pushed into positions he did not merit by his powerful (admiral) father and grandfather. He is a very angry, profane individual with an atomic temper...wrong man for the Job! "Maverick"? Haven't we had one cowboy too-many the past 8 years, doubling our debt through a disasterous wrongheaded war in Iraq? As far as telling us and Obama he "isn't George Bush", he's 90% G. Bush...based on his own admission of his voting record. Guess who I'm voting for Nov. 4!

Clearly Obama is 3 for 3. McCain seems unaware and angry. Obama is always very Presidental looking and always keeps a cool and even temperment. McCain needs anger management! Seriously! On issues, Obama 100%. McCain's notion that "townhalls" would have stopped him from going negative is simply laughable!

Go Obama!  He is not detached from the American people!  As a small business bookkeeper I do understand how health care and small business works.....the premiums that we currently contribute to our employees are 100% deductible for the company and the portion to the employee are deductible for them if they meet the IRS requirements.  The McCain proposal of a $5000.00 "credit", and taxing the employer contribution will force ALL of our employees out of the group policy.....understand....a small business family policy runs about $12500 per year...do the math....McCain will tax $7500 of the remainder...fuzzy math....Mr. McCain has been out of the Good old American loop for too long.....Mr. Obama has a real interest in our country and it's citizens.....not Big Corporations......and why will Mr. McCain not answer questions and be respectful of Mr. Obama?  If that is any indication of how Mr. McCain will treat American Citizens, our friends and foes.....we will have serious problems folks....so spread the word, put out your signs...and VOTE OBAMA!!!

After watching the debate tonight I am more proud of Obama than ever. He is consistent, he stuck to the issues and addressed the tatter when necessary.  McShame showed what is lacking---depth, ability to remember the questions, integrity and A PLAN for this failing economy.

Barack is truly, the man with the plan. McCain is really about trying to paint a negative picture of Obama so can get as many people to be afraid...so distasteful. The strategies they are using is wrong they speading hate and dividing country. Sarah Palin is a mess and no role model for me.

Congratulations McCain! You did a wonderful job! I had to watch on my PC, had no choice, but it looks like all the Obamanuts were doing the same thing----by choice, no less <shudder>. Scary people they are. They sucked that Obama kool-aid right up as shown here by their immediate responses to the poll questions. You guys really need to get lives. You have been sucked into the age-old scam of the pyramid scheme, and you need to slap yourselves out of it. What, exactly, do you think your "job" will be if Obama is elected? If you guessed volunteering your time, listening to aging fascists telling you what to do, and swindling mommy and daddy out of their hard-earned money so you can hand it over to some lazy slob who can't get a job as easily as you can <sob>, then you win the prize. Smarten up, there are other ways to make yourself feel good about yourself, and your "volunteer" work is nothing more than voluntary "slavery". Find a worthy organization with a worthy cause, not the cause of some old heathens who ought to be picking out nursing homes instead of indoctrinating young people. It's a cult, and you are the sponges.

Years ago, I would have voted for John McCain over President Bush....butI think Obama shows that he has the public's issues at heart. Also, I believe that he will work day and night to fix the economy. I do not think McCain has the ability to do that at his age, nor do I think he  puts the people first, rather than big business. John McCain knows its the last chance he will have to run for president, and his desperation is showing. We need a calm and logical plan for the future, not a bunch of howdee doodey terms like Joe Sixpack etc....

And.....Palin scares the hell out of me ....if she ever had to take over it would all be over...The whitehouse would be moved to Alaska, because she is familiar with it!

It was horrible to see McCain spend more time outside of the issues and far too much time on character assassination.  I am going to take the high road as OBAMA did and not lower myself to the MCCAIN level, I was always told to respect my elders, so congrats PRESIDENT OBAMA and have a peaceful and restful life McCain.

This is the first time I have ever been so compelled and invested in an election.  I just get so frustrated when a question is asked and not answered.  I am tired of the negative attacks on Senator Obama.  I personally don't care about ACORN and Ayers but what I do care about are straight answers.  McCain is supposedly all about the "straight talk" but I never hear any coming from him or his running mate.  I only hear lies and twisted truths and when one of them can't answer a question the answer turns into repeated statements and attacks.  I am a hard core Obama supporter but I watch the debates and the speeches waiting to see if McCain or Palin will actually answer a question with a direct answer, I'm still waiting.  And as far as McCain spreading hate and stirring up hate amongst Americans is despicable.

For the past few weeks McCain has't been wearing an american flag pin on his lapel.  When the campaign started , Obama was called unpatriotic by the McCain campaign.  Who's unpatriotic now??????

Is time for change in America with Obama, now lets go to the polls and make sure of this new route headed to prosperity for all americans including republicans.

Hey all you Obama lovers...........I'd like to hear what you have to say a couple years down the road if he becomes our next president.  He is a smooth talking politician that is telling you what you want to hear.  Why not pray and seek the truth before voting?  What a concept.  He (OB) is deceiving you.

Tonight I believe Senator Obama is clear and precise on his direction for me and my family in America.  He has my family's vote.

McCain may be old, but he certainly is not mature.  He doesn't focus on the issues and uses childish tactics to try to bait Obama.  I don't want a hot head like McCain negotiating with other countries.  He has been so disrespectful toward Senator Obama, a fellow countryman, it scares me to think of how he would behave in the International arena, especially where we need to improve the world's view of America.  And Sarah Palin is not the one to represent my gender!!!  Let's just get this thing done...GOBAMA!
