Barack Obama

Even though his taxes would be higher, his customers would have more money to spend thus raising his gross income.

Because if he's a real man, he'll want his son to inherit a better country and because if he makes over 250,000, he's got no complaints.

Since "Joe" isn't really a plumber I'll assume he's an average American. In that case he'll have a better chance under Barack's leadership.

Joe or Jane the plumber would fare far better under a president that is in touch with the country, hence Barack Obama.

People can't hire a plumber for their house if it's been foreclosed on. Consumers with more money = more business.

"Joe The Plumber" does not even have a plumber's license. Check the facts. He is likely some sort of plant by the Republican Party.

Perhaps Joe doesn't realize that the $250,000 pertains to his personal income and not the total revenue of the business.

Mainly because he will not be making over $200,000 for a few years, if any time at all. Starting out he could benefit from tax credits.

Main question; $250,000 of net income or gross regards the tax increase? If its net, this would not prevent someone to purchase a business.

If you read Karl Marx, and read the ten pillars of communisn/socialism you will see an earie resembalance to the Obama tax plan. Pay attention to the words redistribution of wealth. Are we really entitled to other people's earnings? I am not wealthy but I am not against people who are. This tax plan will counter growth of business and take away incentive. We already lived under Jimmy Carter, but under Obama, it will be Jimmy Carter part two.

Joe the Plumber knows which he would fair better under. He has chosen, he picked McCain. Enough said. The difference in parties is right there: Republicans believe, and they are right, that private citizens know what is best for them, and government have only a few legitimate roles: courts, police, armed forces mainly. Anything else takes away our freedom. Unfortunately this is not the generation that reads. To better understand the differences and the danger of the liberal democrats' platform read Atlas Shrugged and the Fountain Head by Ayn Rand, a Russian, who came to American and became a famous author. Who better to tell about the dangers of socialism and communism, which promise to all, and take from the people, government produces nothing, it simply has a job to do to keep us safe. To give something away it must take from the people. Saddest of all is it takes away freedom. The Obamas and the Polosis' will still be living high on the hog. The rest of us, well, we won't even have rich citizens to keep us safe from government's greedy hands. Next they will take our right to bear arms. Good Bye Constitution. George Washington is turning over in his grave!

Maybe you need to go back and read a US Government book, The government plays a much larger role than courts, police, armed forces. Lets see, you have the Legislative branch which makes laws,  the judicial branch which is there to make sure laws are enforced, and the executive branch which makes laws official. Without government we would be in the same position as the Iraqis are now

Let's see...Higher taxes for higher incomes. The big fish can't employ the little fish. More little fish on the unemployment lines......higher taxes to pay for more unemployment. Less big fish paying taxes......sounds like dangerious territory.

Joe the plumber is a little fish. He is NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE A LICENSE to work for his boss, his boss holds the license. Same with an electrician, everyone at the company is NOT a fully licensed electrician. Come on, get real! If you work on the dock for DHL driving a fork lift, do you have an import/export license? If you work the phones for Allstate, are you a quallified broker? Gimme a break.

I think Joe should run for Congress where he UNDOUBTEDLY needs no qualifications.

people that make under $200,000 and families that make under $250,000, make for the majority of people in the United States. With out these people Joe would be uneployed, John McCain says not to raise taxes any one. On the other hand he wants to give the uper income makers and large corparations a tax break. John says the wealth will trickle down to joe. this method has failed and has been proven by the past 8 years. Joe's nabors need money to be able to pay him for his work.
