I agree with James4Obama, I would also like to add that McCain, during his P.O.W status was better known as Songbird McCain.   Because he alone caused thousands of Marines to die, by giving the enemy military intelligence.  McCain, only refused too come back to the U.S because he was ashamed and felt guilty for all the lives he was responsible for.  Upon McCain's return and as recent as August 08, his favorite line "I didn't love America, until I missed her company." 

Then McCain selected his VP.  Introducing Gov. S. Palin, whom first dude was a member of AIP "Alaska's Independent Party"  they want to denounce America.  Even though Gov. Palin wasn't a member her last appearence in Aug. 08 as well gave a speech at the AIP convention.  Now I wonder who should Americans really trust?

Gov. Palin, as mayor of Wassilla didn't perform her job duties, she hired an administrator to execute her job duties as mayor.  $50,000.00 worth.  Wow, some experience all three Bush, McCain and Palin went too school and didn't learn squat.  All of that money wasted on education.

Not until some American's get an education and the older people that have been raised, or raised their own children to practice hate are wiped off the earth, then race will no longer be an issue.

If there are still people unwilling to vote for Obama simply because he is a black man, they need to explain what more they want from him.

Barack Obama has shown us that he is intelligent, hard working, has always tried to do "the right thing", has spent his entire career helping his fellow man.  He is a good father and a devoted husband.

Isn't that the criteria we look for in every citizen?

John McCain lost all the respect I had for him in the past when he selected Sarah Palin (country first... yeah right) and when he slithered into the same reprehensible tactics that were used against him in 2000 by Rove and Dubya.

We want more experience from Hussein!  We also want some of his relationships scrutinized to the extent that they would be for any other candidate for President...is that too much to ask?  Just because a person speaks well doesn't mean they are qualified to be President.

If I ever doubted Obama's christianity it is no longer a question for me.  The bible says,"You shall know them by their fruit."  It was speaking about the fruit of the Holy Spirit.  Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and termpeance.  Galatians 5:22-23.   I have seen all of these qualities in Sen Obama and displayed by his campaign in general.  There is another list in the bible of those not lead by the right spirit.  I have not seen that list portrayed in Sen Obama's camp but in Sen McCains.  Strife, adultery, fornication, hatred, variance, wrath, seditions, envyings and heresies.  verse 19-20.  There is more to being a CHRISTIAN than being against abortion.  It's supposed to be how you live your life everyday.  Through this whole campaign and all the he has been accused of Sen Obama has shown temperance and all of the other qualities listed in the bible and McPalin have not for all of their protestations.  Sen Obama has earned my respect and my vote.

At Obama rallies and in the offices there are people of all colors and races.  We are the majority.  Those that practice hatred and racial bias are now the minority.  We are ONE NATION.  Ride or Die we now do it together.  We must each choose to stand together for what is good for all of us as a country or all of us will fall.  Don't let the haters get you down.  There are more who want unity than you think.  I also am black and live in Florida with many bi-racial grandchildren.  The world is changing and I for one am very happy that all of my grandchildren will grow up in a better/bigger country where they will be judged by their actions not the color of their skin.

Your words are so true.  If the blacks do not want a racial connotation associated with them, then why have the Black Caucus in Wash DC, the black Chamber of Commerce, the special set aside scholarships for black athletes, students and lowered qualifications to attend higher educational institutes.  Open the field to everyone on equal basis and then we will all be consided Americans.  Do the blacks know about the persecution of the Jews, Catholic, Irish, Chinese just to name a few.  Read our history, a lot we should be ashamed to have written and none so much as the native americans.  When I see a native american nominated for president, I will feel like we are a nation of equality.

The only reason people would not want to vote for the Obama/Biden ticket has to be because they are afraid of change.  They are afraid of the change needed to proprel this country forward.  Envoking Barak's middle name and spreading "gossip" seams to be the only thing the Republican Party has to offer.  They couldn't possibly have valid opinions on the issues.  If they did they would talk about them rather than talking about their opponent.  Thankfully, the Democratic ticket has learned that it's better to stay on point than to lower themselves to discuss the fact that:

McCain was less than honorable when he left his wife to be with his mistriss the heiress, or that if he were any other governmental employee he would've been asked to resign when he was still in his 60s, or that he actually crashed 6 planes before managing to get himself captured in Vietnam, or that he actually cancelled his campaign to fix the economic problems in Washington, or that he himself used ACORN to register voters, or that he himself did not want to take public financing, or that he authorized Mr. Kalid to get more than $400K, or that he admitted that he knows nothing about the economy and is uncomfortable discussing it, or that $7B no bid contract Dick Chaney is now campaigning for him...I could go on, but

I'm voting Democrat this year and we just don't bring these things up.

How did Colin Powell and C. Rice help as blacks in the Secretary of State position? Did we achieve world peace?  This doesn't track about the fat white guy since we've had white female Sec of State as well.  Aren't these our diplomats to the world?  Why do we think Obama will cement good relations with the world?  If anyone can explain to me the special powers he has, please do so.
