Wary but hopeful

With the long lines that will be in the Urban areas, I am worried this will deny more Obama supporters the chance to vote than McCain.

Over-confidence on one side of the fence means smaller turnout, and it will be tight.

All things spell an Obama victory. However, McCain's gleeful confidence despite the polls reminds me of Bush before he stole the election.

McCain has the experience (including military and governmental). He does not associate with unsavory radicals and will cut gov. spending!

To all of you people who say no one watches Fox News, I do. I also watch BBC news and Sky News both out of England. And I have heard all sides on Fox and the others, and I know they report both sides as I have had to listen to it all. And I can agree on some but mostly not. Yes Im stationed here in Europe with my husband. I used to be a Democrat , now I am an Independant voting for McCain. And for all of you dogging Bush and saying everything is his fault didnt take Civics in school, or cant understand what is right in front of you. It's been the democrats running the show the last couple of years, and Im not really upset with them. Its the far left liberals that I'm mad upset with. And I believe with them still running the show, along side the most liberal senator in the bunch. They will destroy my country and everything good about it! Im living in a socialist country and I dont want to have to see my country like this. Please vote no for Obama and YES for McCain!!!

Most McCain voters do watch Fox News!  Sad, sad, little people!  Vote Smart!  Vote Obama!!!

Fox's problem is not with its overt patriotism, but with its lack of that professed balance. News networks report the news; they don't promote the political points of view of their governments as news. There are clear and sensible barriers between the news reporting arms of most media organizations, print and television alike, and their editorial arms. But within Fox, that distinction hardly exists. And the close connections of Fox News with the Bush administration, from Fox News President Roger Ailes to its Republican anchors and media personalities like Shawn Hannity, Tony Snow, and Bill O'Reilly, makes the Fox the all-but-official voice of the government.

Fox's links to the Bush administration are unmistakable. Fox News President Roger Ailes was President George H. W. Bush's chief media consultant, the architect of his nasty Willie Horton campaign. Instead of choosing professional news journalists for his anchors, Ailes has chosen anchors like WSJ editorialist David Asman and conservative columnist and former Bush speechwriter Tony Snow, who is anchor of Fox News Sunday. A recent analysis of Fox News guests by the press watchdog Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR) showed an 8 to 1 ratio between Republican and Democratic political guests on Fox News political shows.  american-partisan.com

If you listen to Hannity you have to listen to Colmes too, right. And O'reilly has in my opinion been to nice to Mr. Obama. Check your ratings and actually watch Fox, then you can see for yourself its even.  Can you say that for MSNBC, NBC, CBS, etc.

And I voted for a republican before I ever heard of Fox News. I was a single mom not really making enough to afford cable, so no Fox. But I can make up my own mind just as you have made up yours. For the first time, a major party has nominated a Socialist/Marxist candidate that advocates the distruction of the First and Second Amendments to the Constitution.  A Barack Hussain Obama presidency will take away many of our rights and freedoms.  Unlike past Democrat presidencies, we may not be able to recover from a B.O. presidency.  America, you are on the verge of the greatest threat to the Constitution that has ever existed.  Pray it dos not happen.  Vote McCain-Palin and save America and yourself.

This will be the first time in my 47 years that I will be voting for a candidate and not voting against one. I not only like what Obama stands for, I like how he has conducted himself and his campaign. I believe he is very intelligent and will work very hard to pull our country out of the tailspin Bush has put it in.

McCain is not only an embarrassment to the Republican party, but his choice of Palin for VP clearly shows that the man isn't thinking straight. He completely underestimated the women of America, thinking we'd vote for a woman for the White House no matter what her policies, opinions or qualifications. I do not like McCain's attempt to gain votes through trickery. His tactics against Obama are shameful. He clearly exemplifies the very thing we need to change in Washington.

Tomorrow, I greatly look forward to casting my vote for Obama/Biden '08.

My prayer is that when everyone steps into that booth to vote that they ,ake the right choice for the country - not for their race or economic sector, but for the entire country! Your fear and smears will not deter the will of the people. You can all run from the failed policies of your candidate, but you can't hide.

When Obama wins, will you rally around our Country and new leadership, or will you continue with the fears, smears, and hatred?

JoeNY:  I would prefer a very SMART lawyer over this:

Poor Student: Graduates Bottom Of His Class:  This son and grandson of four-star admirals eventually graduated fifth from the bottom of his class in 1958 - 894 out of a class of 899.
In 1958 McCain crashed his first plane into Corpus Christi Bay on a practice flight. He crashed his second plane flying too low over the Iberian Peninsula and clipping power lines. McCain's third crash occurred when he was returning from flying a Navy trainer solo to Philadelphia for an Army-Navy football game. McCain's fourth aircraft loss occurred July 29, 1967, soon after he was assigned to the USS Forrestal as an A-4 Skyhawk pilot. While seated in the cockpit of his aircraft waiting his turn for takeoff, an accidently fired rocket slammed into McCain's plane. He escaped from the burning aircraft, but the explosions that followed killed 134 sailors, destroyed at least 20 aircraft, and threatened to sink the ship. McCain's fifth loss happened during his 23rd mission over North Vietnam on Oct. 26, 1967, when McCain's A-4 Skyhawk was shot down by a surface-to-air missile. McCain ejected from the plane breaking both arms and a leg in the process and subsequently parachuted into Truc Bach Lake near Hanoi.  While at Annapolis, McCain frequented strip clubs and bars, dated a stripper nickname "Marie the Flame of Florida". When reminiscing about her, he commented, "She was pretty volatile." He was a repeat member of the Century Club which included cadets with over 100 demerits (marks for misconduct). In his book Faith of My Fathers, McCain writes of his "excessive drinking, nightclubbing and little or no sleep."  Great!  Another George Bush, that's just what we need.  I'l take the smart lawyer over Palin stupid McCain!  Go Obama!

Funny that all the ACORN problems have been related to registering "Democrats" who are not eligible to vote, or more voters than actually live in an area, or outright telling people to register and vote for Obama.  Yet all fingers point to Republican fraud?  I wonder where you people get your nightly news.

John Mcain was a part of the  S & L fiasco and bail out in the 1980's.  He and the usual suspects said they would fix the mess so it would not happen again.  Surprise! Here it is twenty years later and it is still broken.  No more Mcain.

I have never been so hopeful about a candidate before.  I am joyful at the propect of casting my vote for Obama/Biden.  I am grateful for what I hope will be a huge turnout of young and first time voters who have a vision for a new country that can only be positive after what we have endured these long 8 years with Bush.

This is such a turning point for our citizens.  This comes from a former life-long registered Republican who absolutely supported Hilary.  Despite my disappointment at her failed campaign, I have come to admire and respect Barack and am hopeful that I will be celebrating a Democratic victory with my partner and adult children tomorrow night!

I voted for obama because McCain is putting lipstick on his tax cuts.  McCain has never voted for any legislation for the middle class or hourly workers.  Tax cuts for business is a good idea however the same challenges remain.  Henry Ford gave his workers a raise so they could by his cars and nobody has got to fundamentals of the economic crisis.  The economic crisis is over cheap foreign products, low wages, low interest rates and incorrect american buying ethics.  Cheap foreign products add to the trade deficit and lowers the standard of living in this country.  Palin lacks the mental intellect to be anything at all.  That pipeline she brags has been on the drawing boards since the 1990's.  Palin is a fake and a liar at best.  The United States is supposed to be the leader in the free world and the United States can't even have a clean election.  The Democrats are part of the problem however the neo cons are the worst i have ever seen.  The Republicans are whiners, liars and cheats worse than anything I have ever seen.

Ha ha ha!  "God" voting?  Preposterous.

To forgive or not to forgive is a human characteristic.  If "God" is all perfect and not human then "God" would never feel the need to forgive or not forgive anyone and to feel a need or to be moved to act is also the mark of something not perfect.  Therefore "God" is not perfect and shouldn't be worshipped or doesn't exist.  If "God" is not perfect then "God" cannot be a foundation for government.  If "God" does not exist (which IT doesn't) then "God" cannot be a foundation for government.

U should really go and read your Bible if u think McCain is anything but a hypocrite.  He is nothing to be proud of.

Obama/Biden will take this by 7 plus points or more.  I just can't wait.

Listen, I believe that Mc Cain has been a free pass from the press because he was a P.O.W,I liked Mc Cain in 2000 when he was the maverick, but he sold his soul this time to be president. We need a new change from these greedy people in power now .Unless you are a millionare which the vast majority are not, have benn suffering under this regime. Bush/Cheney have been in bed with the Oil Companies, Hall Burton, Blackwater. They have put us in wars we should have never been in. They should have gotten Bin Ladin right away but they decided that would not be in THEIR best interest. At the exspense of the kids that died and their families!! They let the greedy crooks of wall street slice dice and rice the financial market and the BAILED EM OUT!!! No help for the people that lost their jobs. And we public should be held accountable as well. They let the Mortgage brokers, Real estate thugs sell them a bill of goods. I bought a house twice in my life once in 80 & 2003 Both times these crooks told me that I qualifed for houses that I clearly knew I couldn't afford and both times I had to insist that I couldn't afford and go out find a house I could afford. But I still had to pay these people anyway. America needs to get back on track and live within it's means. Gwt back to the basics. It may feel good for awhile but this country from the goverment to the man on the street has to get off the addiction of "Credit" "GET IT"

During an interview, why did Obama talk about his "Muslim" faith? He was then corrected by the interviewer. Then like "Oh right" my Christian faith. Did anyone hear Howard Stern's program where they sent people to Harlem? They switched McCain and Obama's viewpoints and asked several people if they agreed with Obama. One person said yes to the question: Do you think Obama made the right choice by picking Palin for his running mate? Another said he agreed with Obama about staying longer in Iraq. Another liked Obama's views on abortion and gun control. This behavior and stupidity only makes me feel very strongly that black voters (some exceptions-I'm sure) are voting for Obama because he's black. They don't care or know what his views are. That's as bad as not voting for him  because he's black.
