To think that religious dogma will, in any way, curb sexual activity is pure foolishness.

The Pope is horribly out of touch and puts dogma before common sense.

You cannot turn off the sexual drive of all people; they are going to have sex no matter what - might as well make it safe sex!

Condoms are 1 of the answers to the Aids epidemic. People are dying. Children are parentless. It's time to change the Churches thoughts.

This pope adressing an issue with out-of-touch comments and right-wing dogma, Surprise, Surpise! We need a Vatican II for our times!

Dogma... the word itself defines what is wrong with this stance. It allows no flexibility in a ever changing world.

Religious dogma is obsolete. It's time to use common sense to heal the planet and save lives. Love unconditionally.

It's true that condom use won't end the problem, but their use and proper sex education will help. This problem has grown beyond prayer.

Religion, as an institution, is wearing itself thin with its stances on social issues that are counterproductive and actually more harmful.

It almost seems that the Pope might actually be trying to kill everyone in Africa. Of course, condoms help is fighting the spread of AIDS.

The more tools we can use to fight HIV the better. "God" or his representative has no business with how we fight HIV.

The Roman Catholic Church is the longest lasting institution exactly because it does not fold to outside pressure.

I'm not a religious man, but the Pope IS dogma! He has every right not to condone practices that are not in line with his beliefs.
