Since its a popularity contest and not a talent contest, I don't vote. That's why southern contestants win. Its political.

I do enjoy the show, but I haven't voted since Elliott came in 3rd in season 5.

Though I have very little confidence in the voting system - last night was 2000 Florida all over again! Adam is a true superstar.

I don't watch network television. That sort of thing is fine for the beer & cigarette crowd. But it's not for me.

For the first time in eight seasons, I saw someone who truly deserved the title. Adam Lambert.

Yes this is a popularity contest, but it is pretty darn good talent nonetheless. Better than the Gong Show.

It is a drama filled soap opera fake reality show that has some good singing on it. 10 (of 60) min are worth watching. The rest ... zzzzz

Just couldn't get into the show's format at all this season, and I'm not crazy about the weekly guest artist as mentor deal either.

Adam is very talented but was a ringer... having been in Broadway musicals. Kris deserved to win as he was a talented unknown.
