Some of us need more help than others..nepotism and not being able to relocate for better opportunities are crippling my spouse and me.

The economy is slowly recovering. No more of my tax $$ need be expended in another stimulus package.

Certainly of course; this is a 15 year issue and to be forewarned is to be forearmed.

We haven't begun to near rock bottom yet. What's needed is a REAL stimulus package, not pork barrel spending for useless liberal programs.

We can't afford social security, medicare, medicaid, prescription drugs and yet the socialist in the white house is putting us two trillion farther in debt? No wonder the world is rustling for an alternative currency. I'd be amazed if inflation was under 15% in a couple of years.

Bush was 'terribly irresponsible' for running a 1.9% deficit but now it's ok to run a 10% deficit? Only a fascist press spewing propaganda 24/7, (CBS/NBC/ABC), could hope to sell that one.

Under Carter there was double digit inflation, interest rates, and unemployment. Now under Obumma, we are already closing on double digit unemployment and the way they are running these huge deficits and promising more whith health care, there is no doubt that interest rates and inflation isn't far behind.

Carter was the worst president in the last century and if things keep going, Obumma will be the worst of this one. He makes Carter look absolutely brilliant. Of course socialists don't care about success, just ideology.

Honestly, right now we are just getting the backlash of the last 8 years. Why suddenly is Obama to blame for the terrible economy? I believe that he stepped into a position that was doomed from the start.

And Tesr, when will Obama BE responsible for his actions??? Sooner or later the Bush blaming will become old and Mr. Blameless Obama will be standing there and people are pointing their fingers at him for once.

Vahalla Phil, what rock did you crawl out from. Clinton was a good President and Obama is trying to clean up Bush and Cheney's mess, they left us in. It won't happen overnight, people think they can blink their eyes and everything will be better. It takes time and money to get things going good again. Give him time, he is a very smart man, and he will get us out of the mess.

The foolish and the idealistic elected Obama and with time, they'll pay the price for their ignorance. He may have walked into a presidency with many problems, but he certainly is not rectifying any of them. All his focus is on the implementation of his personal programs and agenda. In the meantime, this nation is snowballing its way into a handbasket. The damage he's doing is irreparable and only time will prove that. Liberal Democrats: enjoy preaching your illogical objectives now, because it won't take long, before you learn the error of his ways.

Oh sure...just give us two answers in this poll. Throw more money at it or No... but its slowly positively progressing. Such BS MSNBC. Put a third selection. But no...you don't want the truth to be the big vote getter as in NO. Its getting worse and until we start cutting taxes rather then printing money and giving it away....its not going to get any better.

Steve, that is why I couldn't vote on this. I will say we are going to get worst, especially if cap and trade passes. NO we don't need another stimulis package. The first two didn't work. Government needs to quit spending period.

The only DIP's in our economy are Shiek Obama, Joe"Opps"Biden, Nancy"Queen" Pelosie and Harry"look at me" Reid. Lets spend money we dont have and destroy this great nation with pure stupidity. If we drive all the manufactures out of our country then the entire nation can get on welfare. Who does Obama think he is fooling, he doesnt know beans about domestic issues. All he was in Chicago was a door to door beggar. He has never ran anything in his entire life. But one thing for certain, if he doesnt change his way of thinking he will run this country into the ground. By the way, both choices are wrong, DISASTER would sum it all up.

There's an african proverb that goes something like it takes one night to destroy a house but building one takes several moons. If as everyone agree this current downtown has bbeing coming for years at least give the new guy a couple of years to get things moving before shooting him. It did take FDR a few moons to fix the last gr8 depression right?

I am very curious to know what it is that anyone thinks that Barrack Obama has done so far.  I think he has done as much as he did in his first job...which was nothing.  He made promises to get the vote and now that the dream is over and most of us have woke up we see what he promised was not possible.  He is a magnificent reader of speeches and I am sadly sure that is it.  He sold us all a dream of a better world and I  and most of my friends don't believe he can make it happen.  This country is becoming a joke to all others.

I have been trying to refinance my home since May. I had a great credit score and so did my husband. Because I started my own business this year and could not prove all my earnings from a simple tax return I have been denied and now my credit report and my husbands is not as good. The banks will streamline a Fha but not a Freddie Mac or a Fannie May. This is discriminating against self employed and Freddie Mack and Fannie May. If anyone out there has an idea, please give it to me, I need and want it. The government doesn't care about those of us who have tried to follow the rules, I have and because the mortgage companies changed the rules again, I am being denied.
