Would you vote to re-elect Sen. Ensign in light of his affair and the payments to his mistress' family?

Being a Nevadan I can't in good consience give Ensign my vote this next election. To have an affair with an employee who's spouse also works for you is bad enough. But firing them after the affiar is over and trying to pay them off with hush money is just too much.

Aren't there enough "bums" in Washington now, representing (?) the voters?? How many more slaps in the face do the voters need?

My "family" doesn't follow these "values"... does yours?

The GOP needs to clean house, and hope that after they do, people will truly believe that they represent family values, instead of the trashy actions they are now desperately trying to defend.

If they put Sarah "Quittin' Kitten" Palin on the ticket, count on Dem rule until 2016, and beyond. Rightfully so.

These two members of the weird church House Ensign and Sanford need to stop helping the Democrats with their holier than thou narcissistic behavior.

I wouldn't vote for him! He is not only an immoral liar, he is a USER, and used his powers to have this affair by giving her raises and her husband better positions.

When asking Larry Craig to resign, Senator Ensign said that if he were in the same position he hoped that he would have the strength of character to resign. Hm-m-m. Guess not.

The first question should be "Should Sen Ensign be charged with a felony for trying to bribe an employee, or their family, with income derived from public funds for committing a personal discretion that would be unacceptable to his public taxpayers who indirectly paid for this "bribery".

He should resign - and NOW!!!  The "holier than thou" Right wing are hypocrites!!!!   Get rid of this "Family Values" platform CR++ too!!

Whenever someone says, "REPUBLICAN," I can't help but have this twisted image in my mind, of a, "CLOSET PERVERT." You know, they kind of guy that tries to sell himself as being a "straight arrow" that hates gays and claims to be the moral epitomy of white Christianity... but behind closed doors he turns into a cross-dressing, S&M, pedophile homosexual engaging in extramarital orgies with barnyard animals!

I think he should run and keep running for the senate for the rest of his life because it would show how pure of heart the republicans are and they wouldn't tolerate such behavior because they would criticize the despicable act before they did it themselves.

You know the republicans with purity of heart would criticize, chastise, demonize such despicable behavior like having sex with young children congressional pages, or picking up men in Minnesota airport men's restrooms and doing the "you know what" with wide stances, or helping himself to pick up men in Florida's rest area's men's room and once caught by the police telling them with a gleeful smile on his face that a bunch of black men force me to do it, while helping a former New York mayor run for the presidency, or heading down the Ole Appalachian Trail to clear his head and his plumbing, or receive millions of dollars in kickbacks with a mansion and yacht's while being a Vietnam War Ace with honor, or being the head of a political party and popping and over dosing on Oxycotin that you lose your hearing and go down to the Dominican Republic and pick up a bunch of whore and then try to smuggle in bottles of Viagra back into America, or be the leader of the Dixiecrat's and criticize your fellow party politician for fathering a black child when you had one of your own and so on and so on, etc, etc, etc......, it's to long of a list that the republicans would criticize and never do themselves because they the, republicans [The C st. FAMILY ( Sen. Coburn, Sen. Ensign, Gov. Sanford, Rep. Wamp, Sen. Brownback, Sen. Grassley, Sen. Inhofe) and other men living together under one roof] would say those actions are disgusting and need to be condemned, because if they criticize, condemned, demonized other and did themselves, why, why that would be.......... should I type it!

Where would America be today if all of you fools that say he should not be allowed to serve were alive when Jefferson, Franklin and the good old boys were alive. Americans know very little of it's own history. How sad and stupid!

Politicians are not Saints, just ask Bill Clinton. He couldnt keep things in his pants either. Why worrry about a Senator when nobody cares what a President does over and over again.
