This is like a rhetorical question,...right? Why would anyone want more people with HIV walking around than we already have?

The government has an obligation to protect the citizens of this country. Look at the problems in Africa with the rampant spreading of HIV

We live, work, shop, etc. next to HIV+ people daily, we just aren't aware of it. If casual contact = infection, then infection rates s/b ^^

We are supposed to be a country of personal responisibility. When that is practiced in regards to sex, everyone is safer.

Another Obama change in immigration policy. This is one of my complaints about his administration. No more immigrants, or diseases wanted.

This Genie is out of the bottle. If one has high risk activities, there are plenty of opportunities to contract it domestically.

No sense in increasing risk and costs. The US has no need to be PC about anything and everything. People prove daily they can not be truste

HIV+ people are not discriminated against when traveling to other countries like France or Germany. Why do we continue this practice?

There's no cure for Swine Flu. It's a virus, just like HIV.

Lets risk innocent peoples lives because people who carry a deadly disease want to pretend that they're like everybody else. Super idea.

As much as I hate to sound crass, if we lift the ban we are inviting everyone world wide to come to America for free care. Sorry but no!

How can you even host a vote on this question -- is this the Dark Ages? Everyone should mind their own business, and live and let live.

Modified behavior is the only way you can prevent the disease and it will not matter to stop entrance.

No-with today's health cost & insurance issues and the high cost of maintenance treatment for HIV, it is absolutely crazy to lift this now.

Americans have enough problems as it is, without inviting a potential to spread the disease. Albeit a difficult disease to pass on. No thx
