A much improved defense and always powerful offense will surprise, I think, everyone including Kansas. If UTEPs defense can give up half as many points, as I think Coach Lewis' 3-3-5 is quite capable of producing, most losses last year would have been wins. Houston has trouble on D and Tulsa is now in a state of offensive question. As far as UTEP's offense, one of the best producing in the country. A 149 QB rating? Ranks Trevor Vittatoe as good all in C-USA and most others' as well. A blow out of Buffalo in El Paso would set the stage for another top 25 season. Regards
