Young team but Wild Card. Despite 7-7 last season, they had a good scheme. Don't forget they almost had Cincinnati, a Big East champion.

i don't know what we were thinking last year, but this year we have skill everywhere we look. the only major difference is at quarter back. i went to the spring game and we looked stellar offensive wise.

Very young team, its a Wild Card team. Despite 7-7 last season, it was a good run with effective scheme. They just need a little bit more practice and more familiarization of shoot and run for the QB. They had a good recruit last year and also QB Alexander has adopted the system. Need a lot of work on Offensive Linemen and Defensive Secondary, a little more speed could change everything.

Remember they almost had Cincinnati last season, a Big East champion.

I really like this conference, and especially enjoy watching BSU and Nevada, tho I never want to play at Bronco Stadium again. I wish BSU would toughen up the pre-season schedule. They have Oregon this year, and as a BEAVER fan I hope they beat the Ducks two years in a row. Outside of football BSU can't compete in the PAC-10, but in football they would give everyone a run for their money and I predict with a home and home schedule would have beaten every pac ten team at some time in the past 6 years though they would not have been sporting the record they have in the WAC. Want proof they have already beaten OSU (twice) and Oregon (in Eugene) and played WSU tough in Pullman when the team was good. All of those teams have beaten everyone else in the PAC-10 at some time in the last 6 years. Go BSU. Keep winning and bringing respect to the great NW. Toughen up the schedule a bit and everyone will think you are legit - if they don't already.

I feel badly for Idaho. They have a great coach (motivator) in Robb Akey but I wish WSU had hired him because you can't win at this level in Idaho. They are doing all they can by getting a good coach and revamping the Kibbey Dome, but lets face it. They will never be able to compete with WSU for PAC-10 level talent even with the Cougars coming off their worst season in history. To make matters worse, I don't think they have as much talent as Montana. They should not have tried to compete with BSU for the big time and should have stayed in a market where they can compete year in and year out and that is the Big Sky. I remember watching them in that conference and it was a wide open exciting venue. No shame in playing in the old Div 1AA. It might even come with some success.
