NBC’s Chuck Todd made a “goatee gamble” with ABC’s Jake Tapper: If the Dodgers won the National League Championship Series, Tapper would have to grow a goatee; if the Phillies won, Todd would have to shave his. The alternative would be to donate $1,000 to charity. Now that the Phillies are going to the World Series, do you think Todd should shave his facial hair?

He made the bet, the goatee has to go! It will grow back!!
Gotta agree with that, although the $1,000 to charity would be more useful.
My husband was the cubmaster of a cub scout pack. He told his scouts that if they made their goal selling popcorn that he would shave his head. They went above and beyond their goal and so at the next pack meeting, to the delight of about 60 boys and their families, one of the other leaders shaved his head. He's learned and taught us all not to take ourselves too seriously. It will grow back.
You got to shave it man! You can grow it back. $1,000 donation to a charity in addition would be nice too.
Dallas says hi
Chuck Todd made the bet so the goatee must come off
GO PHILLIES!!!!
Sorry - but you need to shave it! No being a baby - you made a bet. Don't lose your "cred". Have fun! It will grow back and you'll get some good PR in the meantime.
shave it off!!!
shave it off!!!
shave it off!!!
I say he do it NOW! he's a loser, which means losers have to do whatever the winner says. :D
You Betcha, a bet is a bet. It will take us awhile to get used to a clean shaven Chuck, but it will grow back. Sorry Chuck but its gotta go.
Chuck, you lost the bet so lose the goatee! At least you dont have to jump into a pool of ice cold water, eat dog food, or wear womens clothes for an entire show! You really did get off light.... just shave off the goatee and look for its return. We here in Malone, Florida won't think any less of you with a smooth, goatee-free face! lol
Oh Chuck! Beware, a friend of mine had to shave his beard one time and his duaghter didn't recognize him, she cried.
Bets don't have alternatives so ... a bet is a bet and he should shave the goatee. And since he brought it up, it doesn't mean he can't do both and donate $1,000 to his favorite charity, too!
If Chuck can talk the talk then he has to walk the walk. SHAVE IT OFF CHUCK!
This shave may improve Chuck's appearance so much - he'll get a whole new following/fanclub! THEN, he'll wonder why it took him so long to LOSE the goatee (- or is it a 'Van Dyke?')!
After watching Mr. Todd's ambivalence over shaving his goatee, I thought I might help with this incentive:
Tell Mr. Todd that by shaving, he might alleviate Secretary Sebelius' concerns regarding his health habits. Germ particles can collect in facial hair.
Sorry, Chuck, but a bet's a bet and they don't come with alternatives. Not only should you shave the goatee, but take it a step further and fulfill the alternative bet by making $1,000 to charity for trying to take the easy way out!!!
He will not look the same, he already looks young, but shaving off goatee, he would look even younger. But a bet is a bet, Chuck, we will all still love you and look forward to seeing you every morning with or without your goatee on The Today's Show.
NO, the alternative is wa-a-ay better! Shave hair or donate $ to a group doing good with it?? Hmmm, DONATE! Besides Chuck is way too handsome with the goatee. I say it stays :)
shave it now
or the next news conf. some one can shave it for him
remember he had to be told how to sneezz
What's with the "dithering"? Has Chuck Todd been in Washington too long? Without question, the goatee must go -- a deal is a deal!
I think his goatee is sexy and I think he should keep it.
