Driving through rural Ohio offers a variety of beautiful pastoral scenes: gently rolling hills, orchards in bloom in spring, tall stands of waving cornstalks...and the often seen but seldom noticed Shredded Wheat Ranches.

I actually made these for lunch today. I wasn't real sure how they would go over since my kids are so picky and usually don't like eggs but they really liked it. They always thank me for cooking but if something isn't good they will tell me. Same goes for if it is good.

There is a place in my town, probably not much different from a place just like it in yours. Call it a Diner, a Cafe', a Greasy Spoon, a Lunch Counter... It's been in business since the 50's, the menu and decor have changed little if any, in all those years.
