Authorities in Colorado say a homeowner who was selling his house returned to the property to find a 24-year-old squatter wearing only underwear. Police in Golden say the homeowner found someone's car in the garage of the home when he arrived Nov. 9. They say the unidentified homeowner then discovered Timothy P. Gonzales in the house, where he had been showering, doing laundry and putting food in the fridge.

Police: Man gets stuck in vent during burglary

Topeka police said a man who was trying to rob a discount cigarette store got stuck in a vent and had to be rescued by firefighters. Police said the man was stuck in a ventilation pipe for about three hours early Thursday. He eventually managed to call his daughter, who called 911.

Police said a naked man who appeared to be drunk or on drugs broke into a home in Slidell, cooked and ate a meal and took a shower before leaving, wrapped only in a sheet. Slidell Police Capt. Kevin Foltz said a video surveillance system at the home shows that the naked man first used a garden hose to shower outside the house. He later broke several windows, entered the house and ransacked it before cooking himself a meal, having several drinks and showering again. It happened early Monday while the home's owner was away.
