Costa Rica is finally ready to join the Central American Free Trade Agreement.
The Bush administration said Friday it was imposing a six-month tariff on socks imported from Honduras in an effort to give domestic manufacturers temporary relief from a surge of imports following passage of the Central American Free Trade Agreement.
Costa Rica has until Oct. 1 to implement the Central American Free Trade Agreement with the U.S., the president said Wednesday.
