
AS SOME Newsviners know, I am a minor movie buff, with a penchant for writing up Top Ten lists. They're almost always subjective as hell, but they are a great opportunity for a (largely) non-political discussion, and I always find some new gems to keep an eye out for.
John Quade, Character Actor, Dies at 71 Source: The New York Times
John Quade, who played the heavy in some Clint Eastwood movies and was the sheriff in the television mini-series "Roots," died on Aug. 9 at his home in the Southern California desert town of Rosamond. He was 71.

Way back when I was a youngster, the cowboys who ruled the roost were John Wayne, Alan Ladd and Gary Cooper.

Clint Eastwood is saddling up for the last time and that he has warrants for every crook, slime ball and miscreant on Wall Street and throughout the nation who contributed to the current financial disaster.
