In an effort to get the conversation tracker working with pagination, we recently released some changes that enable the "new" links to traverse from one page to the next.

I logged in several moments ago to see 55 comments in the "My Column" section of the Conversation Tracker.

I dont know what the hell is going on, but for some reason there were about 6 comments to my column which have been sitting there for Newsvine-knows-how-long.

Beginning last night, I saw a steep drop off in the amount of comments people were making on articles I commented on. Like, from 20 an hour to zero. Then something odd happened.

This feature is unique to Newsvine and allows for you to easily keep track of discussions around the site. No pesky email involved, just unobtrusive on-site notification when someone responds to something you're interested in.

My Dear Newsviners, I have come to know you all through unprecedented misuse of company resources and university time and money.

Right now my friends comment tracker is at 1313. I just can't keep up with them. I use to go through it and see what my various friends and favorite seeders have to say across Newsvine. Then I notice that some of my friends are very active around the vine....

We have all seen it. The day you log into newsvine after being gone for a week. You look at the conversation tracker, and have a heart attack. My tracker read something like 400 the other day, and now is reading 357.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have a really great show for you this week! You can now find the show notes for this and all future podcasts at vineseeders.newsvine.com.

VineSeeders Episode 5 - March 7th, 2006

Lots of updates to the site of late, and I haven't made a long-winded request for new features in a few days so here goes:

In a few weeks, we'll be launching the Newsvine Conversation Tracker. No more digging around in Your History to see if someone has responded to the manifesto you left on their post. There will be two indicators just above the main level categories.
