Alexander Street has changed dramatically since the 1980's, when the Rio Bamba, the Old Toad, and Lloyd's Bar and Grille were about the extent of the strip's nightlife.

UPDATE: The Kentucky Derby Museum, after initially announcing that nothing was believed to have been destroyed in the August flood, has now realized that thousands of Museum possessions will have to be written off. Every exhibit was affected to some extent by the Aug.
