Industry news site, Gamasutra, is reporting that recent SEC filings indicate the purchase of the Fallout license by Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda is currently developing Fallout 3, the latest entry in the fan-favorite RPG game.

On the elderscrolls forums a Bethesda employee announced that We have no plans to make an expansion for oblivion. Should that change we'll make an annoucement on Elder Scrolls.com.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has astounding graphics, no doubt about that. HDR and bloom make it look amazing. Both on the 360 as well as on a souped up PC, it's real eye candy. Not only does it look that good, but it also sports a pretty decent gameplay to back it as well.

No Copy Protection = Respect?

For me it does anyway. I noticed that the game Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion had no copy protection at all.

Elder Scrolls IV has an official date. As far as I'm concerned this is the only reason to buy an Xbox 360 at this point.
