DuPont names Kullman as chief executive officer

Having shifted under chief executive Charles Holliday Jr. from a traditional chemicals business to a science and biotechnology company, DuPont Co. will keep branching out under incoming CEO Ellen Kullman.

Ellen Kullman replaced Chad Holliday at DuPont (DD) Thursday to start 2009, which brings to 13 the number of female CEOs running the USA's largest 500 publicly traded companies.
