We all know of a few people who just can't seem get into the holiday spirit, but this is ridiculous: A Spanish ad agency has produced a rap video where they kill Kris Kringle.

These days, instead of believing in God, a lot of people believe in wizards, fairies, elves, and other fantasy creatures. I think its ironic how God and the Bible are called fantasy, yet wizards, fairies, elves, and even vampires, are treated as if they're real.

Surely Icelanders don't believe in Elves? It's a matter of earnest debate on the New York Mag where John Moody, who lives in Iceland responds to  this Vanity Fair article on the country's financial meltdown.

Many in Iceland believe human-sized elves may dwell in the lava rocks and hillsides. This belief is so persistent that Icelanders halt construction projects or divert roads to avoid disturbing the mythical folk.

The War On Christmas

America is winning, "The War on Christmas". I for one am glad to hear it, because frankly I feel we needed the victory. The War on Drugs was a bust (no pun intended), and The War on Terror is still too close to call. But I think the War on Christmas is really a slam dunk.
