Japanese Defense Chief: Atomic Bombing 'Couldn't Be Helped'
Saturday, June 30, 2007
TOKYO — Defense Minister Fumio Kyuma said the dropping of atomic bombs on Japan by the United States during World War II was an inevitable way to end the war, a news report said Saturday.

61 years ago, on this day, Fat Man was dropped on Nagasaki, sparking the beginning of the end for an estimated 74,000 people. Combined with Little Boy which was dropped three days earlier, the death toll hit around 214,000 - a number which is as startling as it is gruesome.

We all know, or should know about "the bomb", or more specifically, the A-Bomb, the Atomic Bomb, the Hydrogen Bomb, etc. Should we use it to end this world war before it starts, and violate the Geneva Convention rules and the Moscow treaty, or just use new tech?
