Whedon's "Dollhouse" continues to bore.

People said I should hold off judgment until we've seen a few episodes, and that is what I've done. We've now seen five. I really wanted to like this show. The premise is very original and I loved Whedon's "Firefly." But "Dollhouse" falls flat.

Reports suggest there is a chance of a direct to DVD sequel to Serenity, the film that followed on from where the television show Firefly left off. Firefly was canceled after just 12 episodes in 2002.

Joss Whedon isn't very good at good-byes. When his Buffy the Vampire screenplay was made into a movie in 1992, that would have been enough for most. But Whedon ended up bringing Buffy back in 1997 as a television show—again, most people would have been satisfied with that.

I love "Firefly" – so much so every time I'd see it I'd squeeze its cheeks, bring it in closer and share saliva with it. It's a show that had the danglers to say "screw you! We're not going anywhere!" despite the fact the network yanked it after 12 episodes.
