This is an interesting blog post from Flash Platform Evangelist Lee Brimelow. Anyone who works with ActionScript is probably going to be fairly familiar with Lee - he runs GoToAndLearn, which is one of the best resources for aspiring developers.

There's new sync-based web service Syncplicity, quite a competition to SugarSync. It is still in beta stage and it has only Windows client, but Mac client is promised to be delivered in Q3 2008. Like SugarSync, it simply synchronizes the shared files and folder with web service.
