As long as good FTP clients will be around to be grabbed and brought here on the dissection table, it's going to be my pleasure to check them out for you, despite the fact that more and more programs come with built in FTP clients.

FileZilla 3 was just released and I have to admit that I'm pretty excited to see my favorite FTP client hit this big milestone.

FileZilla, has been available only on the Windows platform. Whilst there is definitely no shortage of GUI-based file transfer tools on Linux, FileZilla is one of the coolest. Linux no longer have to look for an alternative app because FileZilla version 3 is now on Linux.
