It turns out, according to their research, that the PS2 was played the most nationwide with 31.7 percent of the total time spent playing games, from January 2008 - October 2008. Xbox 360 came in second with 17.2 percent of the time, with the Wii coming in at 13.4 percent.

WaveBirds and GameCube controllers can be used with all GameCube games and select Wii Disc games. WaveBirds are used as Nintendo GameCube controllers, so they need to use the receivers. The WaveBird receiver does indeed fit into the top of Wii.

Matt C. over at IGN recently let slip that Nintendo's Super Paper Mario, originally slated as a GameCube title, has been moved to Wii. He wasn't able to comment on this further, so the reasons for the move are unclear at this point.

For the first time in my own personal memory, one of Nintendo's major mascots is starring in a T-rated game. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for GameCube and Wii (later this year) will carry a T rating. It also appears to be very story-focussed.
