Nominations for the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced Thursday morning, and HBO's The Sopranos (15 nods) along with ABC's Ugly Betty (11) came away as the most-recognized drama and comedy series, respectively. The rest of the nominations are here.

Ok, so I know I will leave a certain segment behind me on this issue, but my frustration begs release here; besides everyone knows it's not good for a dog to have all that pent up energy.

I am a few days remiss in writing my eulogy to what was probably my favorite hour of TV, The Gilmore Girls. Many here are familiar with the show, for those who are not, the plot was simple, the acting top-notch and the lines snappy.
