Gnarls Barkley - The Odd Couple

Today, we continue our weeklong series counting down the top albums of 2008. At this point, my list starts to get very muddy - there were at least six albums that seemed equally qualified for slots two through five, and I had one hell of a time sorting them out.

When Gnarls Barkley broke out with the debut single "Crazy," it was as if they literally started a craze. The song was in high rotation on practically every radio station, became a standard for Las Vegas lounge performers, and sparked other strange and creative remakes.
